Had small tendon Injury in March 2010 off work for one month – no lasting problems.

X-rayed hocks to compare to original x-rays – no changes at all very healthy.
Flu vaccination by local vet Diogo.
Wormed March and October.
02/05/2013:
Gained a small splint on front nearside off work 2 weeks stable and no problems though small lump remains.
12/05/2013:
Joao Crespo re-x-rayed hocks for up date as starting more intensive collected work – no changes at all.
02/03/2014:
To tackle problems in lateral work had Joao Crespo assess him – result slightly weaker muscle in stifle area on off side causing him to struggle more bringing leg through. Also a weakness in back.! Prescribed – physio and acupuncture.
04/04/2014:
Joao Crespo re-x-rayed hocks for up date as starting more intensive collected work – no changes at all.

05/04/2014:
Physio Julie Hartmann treated him with physio weekly for one month then followed weekly with acupuncture – excellent result big improvement now just maintained occasionally.
09/01/2015:
Physio Julie Hartman visited for general check up – all very good.

Physio Julie Hartman visited Acarus slightly uncomfortable in back maybe from rolling – all good

Acarus fussy in mouth discovered small tooth under skin not coming through causing pain. Ricardo opened the skin to allow tooth to appear used sedation. Filed front teeth.
The tooth still causing problems as very sharp Ricardo filed it the flat surface. Result Acarus much happier in mouth.
Farrier Reports

Farrier – Paulo Delgado – shod every 6 weeks some problems with quality and shape of hoof also weak hoof wall.
06.06.2014:
Farrier – Sergio Pinto we assess feet with x-rays showed shoeing slightly unlevel now correct better hoof grow and moving straighter.

Training
Purchased April 2008.
Arrived in Portugal November 2009.
Moved to Viseu Nuno Andrade for training May 2010.
Training – 3 times per week in school and hacking out twice a week.
Stiffness in lateral work and not stable in contact. Change bit to Myler comfort snaffle
Paddock turn out 4 times a week or grazed in hand for 20-30 minutes.
Moved to Foros de Salveterra Trainer Tiago Albergaria.
Training with Tiago for 6 months while I was sorting things out and relocating to Lisbon.
Lateral work still a few problems.
Hacked out once a week.
Horse walker daily and paddock turn out.
May 2103 Relocated to Malveira Lisbon with Georgina Rogers. Trained 3-4 times a week hacked once a week, turned out in arena daily.
Training – lateral work, changes, counter canter.
In hand work starting piaffe, spanish walk.
Hacking out weekly.
CLINIC with Hannah Biggs UK.
October 2014 – starting piaffe and passage ridden and in double bridle.
Goal PSG end of 2015.
Competition
Reserved Champion Colt in 2008 and 2009 in UK Breed show. Won and placed in several other breeds classes at county shows.
First elementary in Cascais 64.76/65% placed first both days.
Medium in Beloura 66% placed first both days.
