We are all deeply saddened and shocked to learn the news of the superb Lusitano – Robinson de Lafont de Massa bred at Elevage Massa in France has died of colic !
Elevage Massa announced on their Facebook page that Robinson de Massa was convalescing in Toulouse after a colic operation but unfortunately he showed new signs of colic in the afternoon of Thursday 17th March. The veterinarian did all possible to resolve the situation but very sadly Robinson’s life could not be saved.
Robinson – An outstanding competition horse
Robinson de Massa has many fine merits together with his rider French Arnaud Serre. We had the great pleasure of watching them compete in the World Equestrian Games 2014 representing France – Robinson de Massa was the only Lusitano to qualify for the Grand Prix Special. It was a fantastic performance.
All of us at Lusitano Horse Finder consider this as a huge lost to the world of Lusitanos and to dressage competition. He was one of the greats and he has left us far too soon.
Our thoughts go to the Massa stud to Sylvain Massa and his wife Anne-Sophie also to Arnaud Serre . Our deepest condolences for your great loss.
